Britt joined the Union-Tribune in August of 2011 after moving to San Diego from New York City. She has over 20 years of integrated marketing experience at advertising agencies with a focus on various disciplines. Britt has successfully activated brands, launched products and executed experiential events for companies such as Wendy’s, Subway, Pepsi, Unilever and AT&T. In her current job, she manages results oriented and revenue generating programs and develops strategic partnerships with San Diego businesses. Previously, she was the Director of Marketing for the Union-Tribune, overseeing the integrated marketing plans for the company. Last year, Britt lead the inaugural San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books. The mission of the festival is to bring together readers and writers to share stories and their enthusiasm for the written word. Now in its second year, the festival has grown to over 15,000 attendees and is expected to continue to grow in the upcoming years. Britt graduated from Marshall University with a bachelors in Liberal Arts, majoring in advertising and a minor in marketing .
